Health and Education

The Health and Education department at Mount St. Joseph includes infection control, staff development, and worker’s compensation. Infection control includes helping to write policies that protect residents and staff from infections, giving flu shots, and serving as a resource for infection control questions. Staff development includes organizing orientation, CPR recerts, CRMA classes, and other needed trainings. Workers comp includes helping Mount St. Joseph be as safe as possible, helping injured workers get the medical care they need, and seeing that they get assignments within their work limitations if needed.
